Post-Human Metaphor is constituted by three chapters—Self, Others, and the Sublime. Each chapter focuses on several media references, which individually convey a note on metaphor.

Inner spreads are tied together by the reoccurring fake spine shadows, mimicking the over-arching "simulation" theme, as appeared in most of the references.
